How did I get 100+ followers in 24h — a step-by-step guide!
I think you already know that medium will mandate new rules in 2022 about the Medium Partner Program. A writer will need at least 100 subscribers to stay in the program.
I joined medium on Nov 19, 2021, without knowing that writers can monetize their stories. I just wanted to share my thoughts about personal development, productivity, emerging tech, outdoors (hiking, mental health), and finance (investing+personal). However, after reading a couple of articles a week later, I realized that it’s possible to earn some money while writing whenever I want. I needed to be a part of the Medium Partner Program to accomplish this goal. Then I started to search how to get 100 followers ASAP. I know it is possible to get 100+ followers while writing in a few weeks or months, but why waste time when the medium community is ready to help you. Here is what I did and reached 112 followers (writing this article) in less than 24h.
I carry a classic notebook almost everywhere; I know digitalization is happening and being a technology optimist, I am happy how technology is improving our lives. But I am still a guy with pen/paper to jot down my thoughts.
3 Steps to gain 100+ followers in less than 24 hours
Step 1: Find related articles
Simply type “100 followers” in the medium search bar. There are many great articles to go through. For example:

Choose 1–10 articles and save them in your reading list. Then genuinely read the article and follow the next steps.
Step 2: Leave a genuine comment
Before you write your comment, try to jot down the thoughts the way you write articles. As I said, I simply use a notebook to write my reviews in 1–3 words while having coffee/tea, then jump on google docs to update my ideas document and write an article including 1–3 sentences.
